think outside the box

These little chicks were a week old when we received them for our Easter gifts from Grandma Bobbi~ 













It is certainly time for them to move from my kitchen to their new home. The pictures tell the story of the great release. :)

    Jen! I love your blog! It's so funny, we are going urban farmstead too...It's our first year in our house in town (Helena,MT) I planted herbs, veggies, strawberries, and other random stuff last year, and now we know where not to plant next season...:) We are starting with backyard hens in the spring, and just got our rain barrel for collecting and irrigating the garden beds...so fun to have a fellow pilgrim on this road.
